Letter for My Son

To my dearest Son,

Ismail Dihya Hoag

Thank you for all the little things you do for me. I am so proud of you. As a young kid, you are very independent. You love to do many things by yourself. You keep all your belongings in your own way.

I still remember the days when you were crying many times for something that I didn't know about. You keep pointing on something but no words came out to explain why you crying. At that time, you still couldn't speak. After few times finally I knew that all you wanted only do things by yourself. So since that day I decided to give a chance and teach you how to do it.

Indeed it helps me a lot. Because you do many things independently, it makes me have more time for myself and make chores done. Still, you just a kid. Sometimes you just let it go and leave the mess around. Make me angry and have to remind you again especially to keep things tidy.

Thank you again for all your help and support in the independent challenge. We do this together with fun. I hope you will be able to do many things independently, put the things back on the place and keep tidy. Later this will make you a better man.

Please forgive me for a loud voice and inpatient especially when you like to play and make things done slowly. I just forget that you are still a young boy. Once again, I am so proud of you and I love you so much.

Love,

Your Mom (Mama Rohmah)
